PA6 GF30 – Poliamid 6 GF30

PA6 GF30 is a modified version of the classic polyamide 6 (PA6), reinforced with 30% glass fibres. This reinforcement significantly improves the mechanical and thermal properties of the base material, making it highly suitable for demanding and technical applications.

Main properties:

• High mechanical strength and rigidity due to glass fibre reinforcement

• Excellent dimensional stability

• Enhanced thermal resistance (up to approx. 120–130 °C continuous temperature)

• Reduced moisture absorption compared to standard PA6

• Good chemical resistance (oils, greases, fuels)

• Reduced impact toughness (due to material rigidity)

Typical applications:

• Housings and structural parts in the automotive industry

• Load-bearing components in mechanical engineering

• Sliders, guides, bearing bushes

• Gears and pulleys, where additional rigidity is required

• Insulating parts in the electrical and electronic industry, where high insulation is not required
