Pultruded profiles – innovative solution for demanding environments
Pultruded profiles are composite profiles manufactured using the technologically advanced pultrusion method – a continuous process of pulling glass, carbon or other reinforcing fibres through a heated die, where they are impregnated with resin (typically DCPD polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy). The result is extremely strong, lightweight and weather-resistant profiles with a constant cross-section.
Key advantages of pultruded profiles:
High mechanical strength – comparable to steel, but with significantly lighter construction
Excellent corrosion resistance – ideal for use in aggressive environments (e.g. seawater, chemicals)
Electrical and thermal insulation – non-conductive and heat-resistant materials
Dimensional stability – they do not absorb moisture and do not deform
Minimal maintenance – long service life without additional protection
Easy processing and installation – no need for welding or heavy tools
Typical applications:
Industrial structures
Bridges, fences, safety barriers
Stairs, platforms, ladders
Construction and architectural elements
Chemical and energy industry
Infrastructure in coastal areas
