PA6G ESD 90 – Polyamide 6G ESD

PA6G ESD (polyamide 6, cast – with antistatic protection) is a modified technical thermoplastic based on cast polyamide PA6G, containing added antistatic agents for controlling electrostatic discharge (ESD). This material retains most of the mechanical properties of standard PA6G while ensuring controlled dissipation of electrostatic charges, making it ideal for use in sensitive electronic environments where ESD prevention is crucial.

Main properties:

• Controlled antistatic protection (surface resistivity: 10⁶–10⁹ Ω)

• Good mechanical strength and toughness

• Low friction and good wear resistance

• Dimensional stability

• Impact resistance

• Good machinability (turning, milling)

• Moderate chemical resistance

• Lower moisture absorption compared to extruded PA6
