COOLING VEST AND EQUIPMENT

INUTEQ-H2O® evaporative cooling products are lightweight and easy to (re)activate.

The product can be worn in many situations: for work, sports and leisure. The products are designed for use in environments that are not extreme and perform best in low to medium humidity. The air circulation around the body determines the cooling effect and duration. For use in extreme environments, where heat is generated by industrial activities and where the user must wear safety/airtight clothing, these products are not suitable as they do not provide adequate protection against heat stress. For such conditions, we recommend our INUTEQ-PAC® cooling products.

How to activate INUTEQ-H2O® cooling products:

1. Soak the product in water for 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Gently squeeze out excess water.

3. Before use, you can wipe the waterproof lining (vest/headgear) with a towel.

4. The product is ready to wear.

Caution: do not wring!

Cleaning instructions

Machine wash at 40°C (104°F) using mild detergents.

Air dry only, do not iron, tumble dry, or dry clean.

Storage

In wet condition: if the product is not dry, do not store it indoors without ventilation for more than 12 hours. In dry condition: unlimited storage in cool and dry areas.

INUTEQ-H2O® cooling fabric has been developed to provide up to 200 wet/dry (activation) cycles.

Water absorption will increase over time as INUTEQ-H2O® fibres entangle within the fabric structure. After the first 10 wet/dry cycles, absorption may slightly decrease but will then stabilise. This is a normal process and the fabric will remain highly effective in water absorption, evaporation, and cooling performance. Absorption is also influenced by garment care and water quality.
