Acrylic, plexiglass sheets – PMMA

Acrylic (plexiglass) sheets (PMMA) are used as a substitute for glass or polycarbonate sheets. They do not have UV protection, making them less suitable for outdoor use due to their shorter lifespan. For outdoor applications, we recommend using PC (polycarbonate) sheets, which look the same as plexiglass but have UV protection and are mechanically stronger than plexiglass.

Main advantages of plexiglass sheets (PMMA):

• good light transmission,

• good structural durability,

• easy handling and installation,
